Heidie's Food – Brand Refresh & Logo Upgrade

For Heidie's Food, I worked on a comprehensive brand refresh that involved maintaining and upgrading the old logo while introducing a more modern, appealing design that better reflected the brand's essence. This project spanned several months, during which I carefully considered every aspect of the design, from the black and white version to the final selection of colors that would make the brand more vibrant and appetizing.

🔵 Design Process – Black and White Foundation:
The initial step was to create a clean, timeless black-and-white logo as the foundation. This version focused on the core elements of the brand, ensuring the design remained simple yet strong. The black-and-white version was essential for maintaining the brand’s classic feel, while also allowing room for future updates and additions without losing its identity.

🔵 Color Research & Selection:
The most challenging and important aspect of the project was the color exploration. Over the course of several months, I researched the psychology of color and how it relates to the food industry, specifically focusing on colors that stimulate appetite and evoke a sense of freshness and quality.

I experimented with different color combinations, keeping in mind the type of food Heidie's specializes in, and how the colors would interact across both print and digital mediums. After several iterations, I selected a color palette that balanced warmth, vibrancy, and sophistication, making the brand feel more inviting and appetizing to potential customers. The final colors not only conveyed the brand's values of quality and authenticity but also helped the logo feel more modern and energetic.

🔵 Final Design Implementation:
Once the color palette was selected, I integrated it seamlessly into the updated logo, ensuring that the new design maintained the essence of the original while making it feel fresh and contemporary. The logo now stands as a bold representation of Heidie's Food, with a color scheme that truly popped and made the brand stand out.

This thoughtful, strategic process ensured that Heidie's Food maintained its established identity while evolving into a more visually appealing, modern brand—one that would resonate with customers and stand out in the competitive food market.
